An exhibit featuring the work of Taiwanese and Belizean artists will be on display across the country. The exhibit began in Belmopan at the George Price Center for Peace and Development earlier this month. The exhibit is now being mounted at Pelican Hotel and Resort in Dangriga until October 1. The exhibition then moves on to the House of Culture in Belize City October 4 to 20 then on to the Banquitas House of Culture in Orange Walk Town October 24 to November 5. The exhibition wraps up at the San Ignacio Santa Elena House of Culture November 7 to 18. The exhibition is multifaceted and showcases thirty pieces from Taiwanese-Belizean artists in different genres and mediums. The number of pieces that were selected symbolizes the 30 years of independence that is being celebrated this year in Belize. The exhibit is a collaboration of the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) and the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Featured artists include: Joseph Chaing, Lucky Chang, Betty Chen, Shirley Chen, James Kuo, Jerry Lee, Vivian Lui, and Charles Tsai.
