Our mail to the USA usually takes between 7 and 21 days.

In the future, if you need it sent quickly, FedEx out of the Tropic Air Cargo building is really fast. 2-3 business days, reliable.

Registered mail takes about 1 week longer than regular mail and regular mail usually takes around 2 weeks. You cannot track the registered mail until 30 days have passed.

Hey Jeff,
When I want to mail something back to the States, I walk into Tropic air and look for an over 50 yr old USA person... I never miss knowing who is from the USA. They just look, talk I don't know they just are??? So, any way I flash them a smile and ask if they are going back to the US today. If they are and you can tell that too... I ask them if they would mail this envelope for me. They usually say sure and that is that - if they look puzzled I say "I never know how long it will take if I mail it from here" or something along those lines. This has worked repeatedly for me.
See you at the pool??? Pam

When I was in Puerto Vallarta in the early 90's the AA meeting was in an upstairs room over the theatre. Just inside the door was a basket marked. "USA mail." Now mind you, USA postage had to be affixed. Then any one who was leaving for the US would take the envelopes and mail them from where ever they landed.
Maybe our up-coming Social Club could set up something like that???

I don't know, maybe I'm a cynical American, but I don't think I would transport an unkown package from a foreign country into the U.S.. Be my luck something illegal.

I can understand your concerns, so anytime I have ever asked someone to mail anything "time sensitive", the envelope / package remains unsealed so they are free to view the content....
