The San Mateo Sanitation project is still happening [and urgently needed] but going through a few road bumps.

It is my recollection that Jr. started the San Mateo project while he was mayor and then continued it when he was elected to area rep. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

It is a terrible situation, but as the news spreads, hopefully more people will get involved. Professor Kim Shackleford and her group of students from the University of Mississippi will be back in January. They organized the roads project(San Mateo Empowerment Project). It is pretty impressive what has been done so far(though it is just a dent). The grandaughter of the Lala's made an award-winning documentary. Pm me if you would like a copy-I think the director is all of 10 years old-awesome film.
