The team defeated St. Vincent and the Grenadines 2 to nil on goals scored by the spectacular Deon McCauley in the 78th and 81st. minute of the game.

With this victory, Belize ended in second place in the group with 7 points, ahead of St. Vincent with 5 and Grenada with 4.

Additionally, Deon McCauley remains as the top scorer in World Cup Qualifying games globally with eleven (11) goals. Teams in Honduras and Costa Rica have shown interest in Deon McCauley.
