Can anyone tell me what the average wage for a housecleaner is on the island? We are looking for someone just once a week for 1/2 a day.

Yes. I agree with $10/hr bzd.

I just got back, and had a talk with my housecleaner. I told her I was paying her more than $10 an hour, and I didnt appreciate that she was leaving at two when I was paying for a full day. She is acting like she wants to quit. I'm hoping she stays but she has been taking advantage.
By the way, when I figured what she got with the shortened hours, it was $17.75 an hour.

That isn't true Jesse. Now you are starting it up again! I won't tolerate your abuse any more! It's because I have been out of town. Also if there is an issue with kids at school I would work around it. My last housekeeper worked two half days.
