Can anyone tell me what will be open or not open over the Xmas holidays. Maybe New Year's as well? Just so we know when/if to stock up on groceries and how much and also if we'll be able to go out to dinner instead of cooking at home?

Caribbean Colors Art Cafe (located above the Sports Bar) will be open Dec. 24 6:30 a.m. - noon for breakfast and 3-9 p.m. for sushi. On December 25 we will be open 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. for brunch, and closed in the evening.

Most of the grocery stores will be open, however by the end of the holiday they run short on basic supplies like eggs, purified water, flour, rice, beans, etc.
On Christmas morning there will only be a couple of restaurants open.

Most everything is open during the Holidays as it is a busy time. Locals make good money. Grocery stores are always open. True on Christmas day some restaurants may be closed but enough will be opened to have a choice to eat...

Good to know, thanks everyone. We are arriving on the 24th and just wanted to know if we needed to stock up asap upon landing, if we even had the opportunity to. And eating out on Caye Caulker is one of our favourite things to do of course.
