Residents of Belmopan and surrounding areas lined the ring road last night to watch the annual Parade of Lights. In recent years, the parade had shrunk, however last night's turnout was an improvement from last year as Schools, Government Ministries, Churches, Marching Bands, Cadet Groups and Businesses joined the parade. The Parade of lights went around the Ring Road and other major streets in the City of Belmopan. The parade started from Melhado Parade shortly after 6pm and ended at the Sir George Brown Field. While the Parade was on-going, different performances were being done at the Sir George Brown Field by the Belchoral Society, Police Drama Club, Legacy got Talent and Mount Carmel Marching Band just to name a few. Last night's activities concluded shortly after 10pm.
