I would like to take the opportunity to publicly praise a hero of CC. Last night we were at the spit watching the fireworks with our friends the Bakis and Chubs. We were seated on the remains of the old seawall. When the display was over we got up to head home. Brian Chub (age 2) accidentally fell into the water. His aunt Gabby Baki (age 11) saw him fall and immediately went in after him. She found him floating face down, turned him over and lifted him to safety. Brian spit up quite a bit of water after the incident and was breathing normally with a little cough. He did not suffer any cuts or bruises and is back to normal this morning.

Praises and love to my hero Gabby.

She did not thinking and jump on water at dark and she is only 11 year old , this an amazing proof of courage
