Frankly, I just assumed that the blog was written by someone on a trip to Belize, not necessarily someone with any particular writing skills nor discerning knowledge of the area in which the blogger found themselves.

But as collyk said, at least the blogger wanted to return to Ambergris Caye.

Despite some geographical "mislabeling", I think their trip sounded fun and adventurous. Lots of "bumps" in the road, happy accidents and great memories to last a lifetime. Isn't that what international travel is all about?

Seems like they rolled with it. When I have come down with food poisoning in my travels, it is a drag, but it is not what I remember about the trip.

Re frizzy hair and Morrocan oil, must try it! Flat irons are a sore subject with me, since mine got ripped out of my luggage on a recent trip to Martinique, likely while on a layover in Puerto Rico.

I never watched Friends so didn't know who the woman in the pic was, but thought she looked a lot like the woman who was in Scarface!
