But who is the chef? What about other staff, familiar faces, new faces? Is Fitz himnself still at the airport location? Anyone know?

Fitz and Vashti are at Xaman Ek most of the time. They are doing a great job and I hope everyone will give them a try. I am sure they will be posting particulars. I am living in town now and love being in San Juan and am not involved with the day to day operation of Xaman Ek. The phone up there is 226-3009. Thanks Mike

Thanks Mike! JamBel's is one of my longtime favorite restaurants on the island. Even so, I like the food just that much better when Fitz is doing the actual cooking instead of just managing.

Won't stop me from eating at JamBel's in town tho', but I'll know where to go and look for Fitz and Vashti to say hello, and get a bite up island.
