Question for locals that happen to know. We are trying to figure out bringing our whole family down for a week in the next year or so. A son is on dialysis. Is Belize City the only place for dialysis in Belize? How much would they charge? Would they take US Medicaid for payment for dialysis?

Yes Belize City, at Belize Healthcare partners. I believe it is about $250 usd per dialysis.I don't know about US Medicaid. They do have a website, if you search for Belize Healthcare Partners you will find more info and contact info.

No, Medicaid would not pay the clinic for treatment. You will have to pay and try to claim reimbursement from them, they allow that. Medicaid is a US gov't medical financial aid program administered by each state for US eligible people.
