You can bring in meat, I bring in 6 to 10 steaks on a regulare basis. More than that it may look like resale. I bring in Rib steaks, I used to be a meat cutter at Safeway. Never had a problem, you must have the USDA inpection stamp on the meat or the packaging, your local grocery store will help you with that. I declare it, I show it to customs so they dont find it, tell them its for a celebration and have never had a problem.

Custums asking if you are bringing in meat does not mean you cant bring it. You need to declare it and have it inspected.
