Curious about 15-20 years ago. I'm guessing the need for clean beaches was "less". What happened?

And these as well as similar crabs can both be found by picking up large clumps of seaweed still floating at the shore and shaking it vigorously over the beach. You will soon see how many little creatures are in each clump. Pretty amazing.
