One of my favorite take out items when we've been to Roatan, Akumal or Tulum MX is grilled chicken tacos.

Is there anywhere on AC where you can buy them? we generally get a whole or half grilled chicken, some beans & rice, cabage and taco shells to take home for a feast

I'm getting hungery just thinking about it.

thanks much

You can get wonderful roasted chicken the various Lebanese restaurants. Some also have take out rice and beans.
You can get tortillas at the tortilla factories (no "taco shells" here .... we don't deep fry our tortillas for tacos). They are sold by the pound - don't ask for them by the dozen.
You can get cabbage at the grocery store.
Enjoy!

I recommend the chickens at the Lebanese place across from the Greenhouse. They are always plump and juicy. Ali Baba's always look like they have been there so long they have shrunk down to"capons"

How salty do you find the chickens? They look awesome, but we often find rotisserie chicken in the US too salty to eat.

Thanks for the input.

Not salty. Just tender and juicy.
