Yesterday's lead news article from Channel 5 was in my opinion, shameful.

The article noted that PM Dean Barrow was going to Miami to be with his wife whilst she undergoes her third round of chemotherapy - it alleged that by doing so he is telling us all that he does not care about the outcome of the elections.

I think his actions tell us that he's a man who loves his wife and respects the precious nature of life. Period, full stop.

Any fool (or news station) who would use that as fuel for a put-down is just plain sick.

That's politics for you. It's a nasty game that csuses normal, respectful and caring people to stoop low and play dirty.

Ch 5 owned by Michael Ashcroft, they are his soldiers. And if Dean didn't go to Florida with Kim, Ch 5 and Belize Times would have something to say about that too. Fox News puts it political imprint on their news. And so it goes and why most good decent people do not want to enter politics.

Exactly. Barrow would be damned if you do and damned if you don't. I can't wait for campaign season to be over!
