On Ambergris Caye it rained all night with rolling thunder and is raining still. The road is washed out and you get to work the best you can.

all night torrential downpour on Caye Caulker. Wow! Can´t get outside at all. Woke up at 3 a.m. and there is a cloud bank sitting over the island, just letting steady rain come down. Occasional heat lightening. Been going on for hours. Got chilly enough I had to put a t shirt on. But I like to sit out on the verhandah in the night, not this night for sure. Steady without letup. Lot of boat owners will be bailing boats in the morning. Saw one boat with the water over the floor boards and life jackets floating around. Waiting for daylight in an hour.

I think I saw Weather yesterday or the day before.

We've got intrepid workers hauling sea grass all day - picking up plastic too. This trash-n-grass spill is a real nightmare but we're not going to let it stay this way!!
