Let us know some great foods to try from vendors and where they might be located. In Mexico we had some great meat and fruit pastries that were still warm that were delicious. Anything like that? 27 sleeps away. We are getting excited. Thanks, Dawg

I'll give a shameless plug to my place:

I make Island Dogs All Beef Hot Dogs.

We make our dogs from the best quality, all Belizean beef - nothing imported and are very affordable.

Our Dogs start at $5.00 BZ. We're located in the Spindrift Hotel building just south of Central Park (a leisurely 10 minute walk on the beach from where you're staying)

Check out our menu and what people are saying about us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/islanddogsbelize

If you're too tired to walk down and see us, just give us a call, we'll deliver: 670-DOGS.

Have a safe trip down and hope to see you here!

- Almond's for pork tacos
- Neri's for chicken tacos
- There used to be a stall on middle street selling Dukunu but not sure where they moved, super nice if you track them down
- There's a cart that comes around town in the afternoon with chicken puffs - so bad but so good
- The door behind cholos - best ceviche ever
- Although not street vendors, for awesome local food try El Fogon and have a shrimp or fish burrito at Waraguma
