Typically July is hot with warm seas and occasional brief (20 minute) showers.
Super weather for fishing and snorkeling.
Enjoy !!

The sun is hot but those brief warm showers and consistent breezes keep the air temp reasonable. My favorite time of the year but stay in the shade.

You people missed your calling. The weather people on the TV can't predict very accurate the weather for tomorrow, let alone 5 months from now. grin

I love the 15 minute unannounced showers. They are half the fun. Wear a bathing suit under you clothes and remember, the cisterns are being filled.

We don't really have a wet season here on the island. Most if not all of our rain is event driven (during Hurricane season by Tropical systems and in the Winter months by fronts). We do however have a dry season which encompasses everything in between (Spring into early summer).

Does any one know if it is necessary to book a hotel in San Pedro in advance of my trip in July. I don't think I want to be tied to a reservation date as I do not know what is in store for me until I get there! I am not too sure at what point during my trip to Belize I will be heading to Amergris. I will be there the first 3 weeks of July and I am hoping that because it is the slow season I will be ale to book an available room there with no trouble. Not looking for fancy...just clean and safe.

Thanks in advance :-)
