Thinking about a weekend in AZ, if it isnt snowing !

Thanks Ernie. I avoid the board on the weekend because I want no drunken discourse. As it was recently pointed out to me, innocent comments can be miscontrued. Anybody who truly knows me KNOWS that I do not drink during the week. It doesn't mix well with a really early wake-up call or dissertation writing. But as you said, "Let by-gones be by-gones". Forgive and forget. I hope that people will forgive me for things said in anger, not drunkeness.

HA! Bad travel back home. Sever storms over East Texas yesterday, the flight from Houston to Bze was 3 hours late arriving. Needless to say, I missed my 9:15PM flight from houston to Austin, also missd the 11:00PM flight as well. All hotel rooms were booked full anywhere near the airport in Houston (its now 11:30PM and I had no plans to sleep in a chair in the waiting area. I walked outside to have a smoke when the Sheraton shuttle bus pulled up. I ask the driver if they had any rooms, "not a room within 25 miles" ! EEEK !!! He then said he had a friend that was the nite manager at a close by motel, called him on his cell and WALA!!! Got a nice room at the Clarion for $90, tipped the driver for taking me to the motel and was as happy as a pig in a mud hole. Just got in at 2:30 this afternoon. Tired but happy to be home ! HOWDY SAN MARCOS !!!
