"Tonight we are having what we call a PADI Member Forum, a member forum is an opportunity for professionals in Belize, especially here in San Pedro, to come over and listen to the new products that PADI has launched for this calendar year. A portion of our program this evening is on Risk Management and how to lessen risks as you move into diving with your customers and students. We also have a section that will deal with the standards, to make certain that everyone is on par with what they're doing. As PADI Professionals we have standards within our organization, and our members are supposed to stay within those lines."

"One of the new products we're going to cover is ScubaEarth. It'll be a great opportunity for all of our dive operators everywhere, worldwide to put themselves on a global map. Scuba Earth is an interactive website where the dive professionals are going to be the ones that populate that website by putting information about the country that they're in, the diving opportunities that they have available. So undoubtedly it'll be a great opportunity for Belizeans to populate the website with information on all the many wonderful dive opportunities there are here; not only along the coast, but also in Turneffe and the Blue Hole, etc., down towards Placencia. People already know that Belize exists as a dive opportunity but I'm sure when they start to see that there are 50, 70, 100 dive locations, dive sites that they could come to, it'll help to bring more business into the market."
