We went there last Fiday for lunch and it was closed. We were told by a bystander that it has been closed permantely? True or False?

Seems like they were going to open up after Easter with new hours and a new chef. Maybe still in transition. I know it was up for sale for a while now. Restaurant business is tough everywhere, especially in Belize, so it appears.

That chicken fried chicken was SO good. I'll miss the green beans that came with it.

It is always what I say. it is very tough to open
a place here .The Island can be unforgiving .lots of wonderful dreams turn into nightmares.
If your alone you need to be there 24/7 or you
will have lots of new Partners taking a share .You need to sit on top cash regester [SORRY BUT THE TRUTH HERE.]
The food was very good , did not like the location ?? to busy to close to water taxi and the hustlers. To much going on there.JMHO ..

That is really too bad about Crave...I thought it was one of the best restaurants on the island. When we were there last November, we went to Indian Night and it was REALLY good. Hope it opens again!

I'm so sorry to hear this. Kate and Anthony gotten taken for a ride by the guy they bought in with. Now he has their money and his original restaurant back. They had rented my condo and when they came in all excited about the deal they had made I just shook my head. Of course it was too late to say anything the deal was done. I will never go to the other restaurant even though it seems to be the only Italian one on the island. Enough said!

Harriette I met the owners of Crave when I was down and it was Kate and Andy not Anthony. They other restaurant is not an italian restaurant. The only Italian restaurant was Pinocchio's (not sure if still open haven't been back for a while and heard it had gone through some changes).
