Can anyone tell me if there is any climbing to be done on ambergris caye? Any boulders rocks, caves, climbing walls? Abandoned buildings with cracks etc? I am a climbing enthusiast moving to ambergris caye and I really don't want to have to take a boat to mainland to climb every time I want to.

Not so much for climbing here the island is pretty flat and no climbing wall business.

Will a coconut tree work for ya'll? Coconut Leo can give you some pointers.

But seriously - the island is flat. No hills, no caves and a height limit on buildings. Are you sure this is not an April Fools post?

None of that stuff here unless you're under water with a tank on your back.

You will find trips like these and more on the mainland and can arrange day trips from the caye easily or split your trip between the beach and mainland

I wonder too if this is some kind of joke, or is it just another example of people "moving" to AC with no buisness doing so. You are moving there and you don't know the answer to this rather simple question?

Horizontal climbing seems to be very popular here - especially at closing time.
