Yesterday I got a cab. The taxi driver was a lovely young Belizean guy. His name is Yale. One of his customers had left a phone in his car. The phone was locked so he couldn't even answer it when it called. Because the lady who left it in the car was a white lady who lives here, he was smart and thought I might know her. I put up a Facebook message and I did know her. Funnily enough my Facebook message isn't what led to the owner being reunited with the phone though. The intrepid taxi driver waited again for someone to call and managed to catch the number as it appeared on the phone's screen, called the person and was able to get the phone to the owner that way.

I believe very much that if we spent more time acknowledging good deeds as we do pontificating about bad ones, we all might be a bit happier.

So, I'd like to share this taxi driver's number with you as I like to support honest business people in my community. His cab isn't the newest, but you'll know you're with someone honest. 623 8366
