One last thing for now, I am also coming form an IT background, any use for Network/PC/Printer/etc. repair down there? One more area I'd like to establish if there is a need. More of an on the side type thing.

Boy, if you are a Belizean and have computer skills, printer repair etc I think you may have a great future, we have none on Caye Caulker. The Country has a plentiful amount, but not locally. What you have being Belizean is your home country and all it has to offer for you without any hassles. You are a lucky person. We moved here to make it our home because we actually feel like life is worth living here. We are happy in our small 400 sq ft house, we are happy not having a car or a golf cart even. We love the people we know on this island. In the U.S. you hardly know your neighbors because you jump in your car and drive by them at 50 mph. Its simple here. It makes life easier not to be burdened by so much stuff. You can make a living here if you are smart about it, and what a great turn around for you to come back home, I would think you would have lots of good luck here. Its beautiful here, sure the island is growing. When we first came here the population was 500, now almost 3,000. Of course some people that move here still need all that stuff, too much of everything..for us thats one big reason we left the U.S. Good luck to you and I hope you come back..all the best. I go through about 4 printers a year as i print about 300 prints a week for my gallery with my prints and helping other Belizean Artist with thiers, right now I have two laptops not working and one that still works...so yes, your skills could be of great help..

Thank you for being frank with me. My father is Kelsie Buller, Sr. I am Kelsie Jr. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I prefer the way I grew up. Saying good morning to my neighbours and people we would see walking down the street. Simple, is better I believe. Talk more later. Need to sleep now.

May I ask your name, and how you know my father or siblings. Do you them through your family or do you know them personally. BTW, my father, Died Last year, he made it to 100. The Lord is good. Are you on the key as well?

You don't know me, I met your father a few years ago when he was on Caye Caulker... I own Caribbean Colors Art Gallery and Cafe here on Caye Caulker, located upstairs from the Sports Bar. I have lived here full time for 12 years. My name is Lee Vanderwalker. If you had mentioned you are Belizean, have computer hardware skills and your father owns beachfront property in your first post, I would have said "yu gaan clear." Caye Caulker is still, in many ways, the place you grew up in. Its just more developed.

So I guess you know Mr. Miller the bally weh own Trends and Sand Box. All ah we da one all di time! I am still Belizean, but I have been away for a very long time. I have wanted to come back before now but was told it was very, very difficult to get a business going there. Maybe that is just on the main land. I just decided I needed to find out for my self.

I imagine I now need to get a work/business permit. I guess I'll need to get to the Belmopan to get all the necessary papers, huh? Would you happen to know if I can download the necessary documents I need from the government website or not as yet? BTW, thanks for all your help. You have been a life saver.

For the past 20+ years I have managed IT/MIS Departments for large to small companies. My goal is to try to make companies more efficient while keeping all employees by simply retraining them in other areas. So I am sure I can help out in Caye Caulker. Well, that is my plan; at least.
