My wife and I are coming to San Pedro October 13-21. We are very excited and would like to know if most of the restaurants will be open. I've read that many places take the month of September off to be with family and celebrate Independence Day. Thanks in advance!

Seems like most places were open last October, but do bring your bug repellent. The wind often dies during that time, and the mosquitoes and sandflies can be pretty fierce.

On the plus side, it's very uncrowded here then, and the weather is a bit cooler than in the summer months!

My wife and I were down there in Oct. 2011 and it was a blast. We were able to do everything we wanted to do - great time to go!
