I have some clients that are headed to AC for some fishing beginning November 3. They are concerned that the water is going to be too churned up to have decent fishing. Any advice on how to deal with them? It doesn't seem to help to tell them that only the Southern Belize coastal area was hit badly and that AC was not damaged....HELP!!!
Hi Jodi - our Ambergris fishery was absolutely not affected by Iris. I sent out 4 boats sight fishing for tarpon on Wednesday (2 days after) and all had great success. Both our migratory and our resident tarpon are on the flats which makes them agressive and more competitive (which is good). Historically right after a storm is always THE best fishing. I have hurricane-watcher guests who to come fish with us right after a storm passes because they want in on the action. I am happy to give you a more detailed fishing report if you email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks - Ali
