As I watch the Taxis speed up and down the north side of the bridge, I've seen in the past two days close calls through out the day.

Where is the law? What about speed limits or does someone have to be killed by a cab before something is done.

I saw one cab almost hit a golf cart trying to turn and the cab was in a big hurry to get around it and now a cab almost ran in to a woman on a bike!

The south has put up with this for years, yes it will take some one to be killed before anything is done to stop it.

We yell at them to slow down and bring out that invisible pad and pen to write their plate or cab number down. I call it peer pressure. We should not allow them to put fear in our lives let alone dust in our nose. They were not to go over 20 mph when it first started.

Do not get the increase # of traffic cops seemingly interested only in Gringos on golf carts.....

Numerous animals have been killed/ hurt by speeding Taxis and automobiles.... have to wonder about injuries to children/pedestrians/ bikes as I have had several close calls myself.

Is it possible to video the "bad taxis" demonstrating bad behavior and share with the town board / ask the morning shows to air it?

Years ago I asked the last Mayor for a speed bump, she told me I did not need one as I had a stop sign outside our restaurant. BTW when I checked no one ever stopped and in fact a Taxi did come through my fence once. Nothing was ever done.

That was a long time ago. We have a new, much better government now. Things are improving daily.

I did take note of the taxi #'s for those that had it anyway. It was taxi #12 and 21 if anyone is interested.
