We will be there in Feb.
what type of dress is required.
I assume it's pretty casual?

Pretty casual is over dressy. T-shirt and shorts get you in the fanciest of places on San Pedro ! Leave the fancy duds at home.

The motto is "no shirt, no shoes, no problem.
And that pretty much sums it up.

I thought it was "no shoes, no shirt, more service."

"No shirt, no shoes, more service" only applies to females. [Linked Image] As Zeke and Pirate will attest to.

Although casual certainly is the watchword here, there are a number of SP establishments that now require the gentlemen to be covered top and bottom while a patron. (Been going on for about 4 years with a certain "we're real proud of us" dining establishment on Middle Street.) I personally find it far more comfortable to be shirted while dining even in A.C., BUT after all, it is still San Pedro.

According to Mr. William Thorton, resident philosopher and the defacto fashion nabob of Middle Street, the visiting gentlewomen shall do themselves a great disservice if not wearing a sarong while strolling the boulevards of San Pedro.

Yer welcome, Bill.
