Hi. I know that normally no passport is needed from traveling to Belize from the U.S. but since all of the tighted security with the airlines I was wondering if I should get one. If anyone has traveled recently please respond and let me know.
Thanks!

A valid passport is definitely needed and must be valid for 6 months after you enter Belize.

You may be mixing up the term passport with visa. A visa is not needed from the U.S. and all Commonwealth countries such as the U.K., Canada, Commonwealth nations in the West Indies, etc.

As Jim and others have told you, a valid passport has always been necessary to enter Belize. No change, still needed.
