I have a party of 4 looking for jungle lodge recommendations in April somewhere between Belmopan and San Ignacio. Ideally looking for local activities on site, as little driving as possible to activities, great food and not too 'eco' or basic. Any recommendations? Is there an internet site which compares lodges?

Thanks,

CB is not between those two cities, but further down the Hummingbird past Belmopan. In between are Pooks Hill (close to ATM cave) and many in the Mtn Pine Ridge and many more outside of SI town, between SI and Xunantunich.

and of course, not a jungle lodge per se, but Banana Bank Lodge which fits the geographical location desired.

Thanks everyone. My challenge is finding a fit for the group with varying interests (hiking, caves, archaeology & photography) and fitness abilities.

Jaguar Paw was a very interesting place to stay. Each room is decorated with a different theme which was really unusual. There was a nice pool and easy access to cave tubing. Have not been there in awhile but worth looking into.
