This will be our first trip 2/15-2/25. What is this carnaval?

Carnival is a festival, along the lines of Mardi Gras, that lasts for a few days in San Pedro. Search the San Pedro Sun Newspaper and you will find photos and info of previous carnivals.
Painting and egg sliming are some of the activities, as well as music, dance & fun!

The only bad thing is your gonna miss lobster season by one day. Don't feel bad, we arrived on the 14th this year and missed it too. There is plenty of great food without lobster. Have fun, and if you don't want to get painted just shake your head and the kids will probably leave you alone.
