I know this might be a silly question, but does anyone know if there are "standard" work hours for construction? Is 6 am to 10 pm normal work hours for construction?

No Rules or Noise Ordnance...That would be a constructive endeavor for our new mayor.

Mary - If they are pouring concrete they start early and work until it is done. Otherwise they usually start at 7:00 am and quit at 5:00.

Down south at Hol Chan condos, the workers often stay till 10:00 pm. I was told that 10:00 is the curfew unless they are doing a big pour or something. It's a pain, but at least they will get the building finished quicker.

In Spain they took a long siesta in the afternoons and worked late into the evenings because it was much cooler. Difficult to work in construction when it gets over 90 in the shade
