Any opinion would appreciated about staying at one of these hotels: Coconuts, Caribbean Villas, or any other moderately priced beach front hotel within a mile of town. Thanks!

You don't mention when you are arriving. If it is during the peak holiday season, and you can still get into Coconuts or Caribbean Villas, grab it quick. any time of the year these two resorts are excellent picks.

I left Coconuts yesterday - they are booked solid beginning December 20 through at least the end of the year if not the first week in January 2002.

The Palms is a GREAT place! They have a cool new website... A very short walk on the beach to town and great views from the balcony...

Doesn't seem like there is a shortage of hotel rooms on the island at this time. I always plug the Hideaway, good location, swimming pool, and diverse group of folks. Take care: Bill
