Probably the very best thing you did that week was to take my advice about the consumption of you-know-what. Had you stayed a bit longer at you-know-where you would have seen QUITE a performance by SP's very own Art and Charlie, fueled by several of those god-awful blue things.

We weren't at Woody's, although he is a dear friend, and we did spend several evenings breaking in his new hotel bar with his guests. We're south, first property past the barge. We were regular customers at Coconuts until about three years ago, when we took the show south a few yards.

ChooChoo, my timing is always off although if I had stayed longer, my bicycle ride back to Coconuts would have been pretty scary. It's funny, both this time and back in May, I never ventured south of where I was staying. Guess I'm going to have keep moving in order to investigate the whole island.

I met some folks who were staying nearby - perhaps where you were staying - she was from the states and she was traveling with her new husband and his friend who were both English. They were a very interesting threesome.

I'm sure our paths will cross again - I intend to make AC a frequent stop!

Does anyone know where David went, or did he just move down to Banana Beach?

I believe David is working at the Medical University of the Americas on Coconut Dr.

So Gela, would you go back to Coconuts? Is it by the Crazy Canucks bar? I really like that they have breakfast and it is closer to town than I stayed last time. I am also glad they are going to move that barge in the near future.

I'm going to miss that barge. There were days and days of entertainment and even hilarity while watching the barge antics from the beach bar. I wonder what that says for my lifestyle? I'd better reassess my priorities I guess.

Laurie, I will definitely go back to Coconuts. It's a great location. The walk into town is best going by beach. The bikes are great - that's how I got back to Sweet Basils this time.

Good enough. Just booked my trip as a Christmas gift to myself. Not leaving until 5/2/02, but staying at Coconuts for 10 days!! Yahoo.
