Why is it so Hard to find a Job in this island? I've been looking for a job with no desired results as of yet. I am a CNA with experience as a Care Taker but no offers here. I have over 2 years experience in Customer Service but what do they want? Sixth Form Diploma. Why people compare education with Intelligence? I could work as a bartender or waiter but the Job is not given to me because I don't have experience. How can I gain experience if I don't work on it first. I am a 20 year old outgoing guy who is up for any challenge, fast learner and always willing to learn more. I worked for big companies as well as for "rich" entrepreneurs out of Belize but that looks as if it doesn't matter? Anybody can tell me why or where I can show my capabilities???

For starters, it is slow season and jobs are always scarce this time of the year...

If you are qualified (Resident or Belizean citizen), why not volunteer in an organization you wish to work for (if that is allowed)?

The Polyclinic could sure use a hand... Just a suggestion smile

I would suggest that you have a very comprehensive and properly formatted resume highlighting and detailing your work experience, training and certifications. A cover letter with a little information about yourself would be a bonus.

Make sure you know something about the place you're handing your resume to; people walk through our doors every day asking for a job but have no clue as to what we do. If they can't take an interest in us before they even start work here it's hard to have faith that they will if we hire them.
