Sailing Courses Available to the Public

Corozal Bay Sailing Club

From CBSC Commadore Libby Fitzgerald

Dear Members and Friends,

Andy Aspinall, Training Officer for the Belize Sailing Association, is once again offering a variety of courses for sailors of all ages, skills and water crafts. These courses will take place at Honey Camp Lagoon near Orange Walk Town throughout July and August. Please review the following course offerings to to see if there is a course or two that interests you. The courses are open to the general public.

Upon course completion you will be issued the appropriate certificate from BzSA. Many of the courses are two days or more, so you would need to camp out, return home every day, or stay overnight at a hotel nearby. The hotel is clean, well furnished and reasonably priced.

If you are a member of our Club (Corozal Bay Sailing Club) and wish to camp contact us. We do have some camping equipment that could be made available to members only.  You would be responsible to return the equipment in good working order and repair or replace any damaged equipment.

I highly encourage you to avail yourself of this opportunity. It is not often that we get opportunities such as this so close to home. For more details, please contact Andy. His contact information is provided.
