I PLAN TO VISIT AMBERGRIS CAYE THIS SPRING AND I HAVE HEARD THAT THE HIDEAWAY SPORTS LODGE IS A GOOD INEXPENSIVE PLACE TO STAY WITH KIDS. IS IT ON THE BEACH? ANY COMMENTS OR RECOMMENDATIONS?

Yes, its a great inexpensive place to stay! Its like one block off the beach, nice pool good restaurant....

Great place. just a block off the beach, good resturant and great bar. the pool is a nice bonus.Presently managed by a friendly group of folks from Texas.Some rooms A/C some not. All are clean and comfortable. Give them a try.
