The best place for breakfast is "Estelles".
They have the best Bloody Marys outside my house! I would do" Jambels'" for lunch. If you get thru all that , good luck for supper!
At Jambels i would do the Combo Platter if it's Lobster season...........Richard

HMM one thing on AC.....let's say if I had only one day in San Pedro...breakfast at Estel's or Cafe Ole, snorkel Hol Chan and Ray Alley, Tortilla Soup at Caliente's for lunch, walk the beach and front street, then have dinner at Fido's and stay for Barefoot Skinny's show. Now that is my perfect one day.

where is the best place to snorkle on ab without having to get on a boat to go to the reef?

Nija,

They say, near Avalon north of the cut. We biked up there one day and saw nothing!?!?!?!

Best snokeling we found was at South Water Caye. Right off the beach, truely awesome!!

If you go to Estel's for breakfast, say hello to Charlie, Charles, Estel and Wils from the boys from St. Louis! LOL

if you bike up to journey's end, you can rent a kayak there. there is a tie-up bouy you can paddle out to and snorkel right there.

Hmmmm. We asked Journey's End last year if we could rent a kayak. They said they were "for guests only." [Linked Image]

kath - you may be right. i was a guest, but they had told us they rent them too. maybe that was then. one could always ask first by emailing or calling the 800 number.

too bad, as it was a very fun afternoon.

my apologies if my info is unreliable.

Jane,
No problem. That's just what we were told, but others might have better luck. It might depend on who you ask. We bought our own kayak after that, and it is a TON of fun!!! Everyone should do it if they have the chance.
