I have posted something in Go Green but no responses yet.

I am just wondering if it is possible to add golf cart or marine batteries to my unit or do I need to get solar batteries. I do not have much money at the moment and was wondering if this would work until I can afford proper batteries.

You need deep cycle batteries. Golf cart batteries work very well. Keep in mind the voltages. You will need to properly daisy chain them to get the proper voltage

Where is the best spot to buy golf cart batteries?

It can be the mainland also.
