We've been to Ambergris a few times now and we're headed back in March. We've never done the Blue Hole and are thinking about it but heard that it's not being dove now. Any truth to that?

There has been some controversy over the experience level of divers allowed to go on the trip and operators are being more discriminating in who is allowed.
Some complaints where filed about divers with Open Water Certifications only, going to depths of 130 feet in the Hole.
It's wise to get a little more training to do this Blue Hole trip as divers are not allowed to dive it any shallower than 130 feet because that would leave them unsupervised.
Let me restate that, Divers are not allowed to dive intermediate depths on the Blue Hole experience, it's a 130 foot dive or nothing.
