We're going back to Ambergris in March and want to spend a day in Caye Caulker. When down there should we get a golf cart or just see it on foot? If golf cart is the way to go, is there a certain place we should rent from? Thanks
When I go over to Caye Caulker for the day it's always the same routine,5-10 min. walk to the split, lot's of drinks at The Lazy Lizard & enjoy one of the best views in Belize, head back to the Water Taxi after a few hours & stumble into a shop or two on the way back. Love the Split!!
Thanks. That's what I assumed. There's 7 of us this trip so far with 4 first timers. Gonna be fun. Fish, dive, golf cart, drink....... No order to that.
Bikes are better. They make you laugh and everyone goes their own way. Put down feet for brakes. Fall unhurt on soft sand streets. Race children. They are often ready. Locals will think you are fun and smile at you. There is a stigma attached to a convoy of San Pedro visitor golf carts going by. Not all such groups have shown consideration through the years. Folks naturally steer away on CC.
What Dane said...I may add more environmentally friendly and healthier too!
