Does anyone have any experience with the STANDARD room at Carribean Villas? They have suites that are more expensive and then one or two very reasonable single rooms. The place looks beautiful. I'm sure the suites are beautiful - but too much for us to spend. Anybody stayed in the standard rooms? Wondering how they are?

Stanbo: We've never stayed at CV before but will be there in a 1 BR suite 4/14-4/24. Have talked off-line with several people who have done one or the other at CV. Thumbs up on both. Sounds like the big difference is a kitchenette in the suites which the regular rooms do not have.
Marty: Call me ignorant (OK, I don't mean literally...) but what do you mean you're "at" CV? As in "in residence"? P.S. Hate to discuss <work> but do the suites at CV have an iron/board available? I've seen what they do to clothes during those bag inspections. The cottons are going to need a little sprucing up before I'd be willing to be seen in them. Thanks!

Ditto on the forget the iron board thing. I consider myself to be one of those people that won't go anywhere unless clothes look great, fuhgetaboutit in AC. Humidity takes care of everything and you are there to relax. Roll those clothes up and get your ____ to the airport w/o the iron. Smile. Have a great time.
