I found out that the Bacalar Chico website is incorrect, in that they no longer offer tours (according to the gentleman I just spoke to at the contact phone number). They just work with universities now.

So does anyone have recommendations on who does tours to the Bacalar Chico Reserve?

Check out Imagine Tours. They were recommended by the SPScoop on May 7th for a trip around the island and did a stop at Bacalar Chico and the ruins there.

We used Searious Adventures a few months ago. Outstanding full day trip, great guides, saw manatees, 3 snorkel stops, very good BBQ lunch with fresh made ceviche. I can't say enough good about them.
