From Belmopan... 13:00 BZT
Belmopan has 60% bright blue skies right now and some puffy white clouds, which may increase over the day, moving slowly from the ENE. . . .. .There are some isolated showers over the sea, but few and far between. I am not expecting any rain on land today
We are getting very close to our first of two Mid-Summers. . . . .That is the Sun is almost directly overhead at Mid-day.. .. .On average, our hottest day time of the year is May. . .. .Typically about 92°F ( 33°C ) sometimes reaching 99°F, once in 2005 106°F (41°C ). . ... .These high temperatures again peak in August, our second Mid-Summer, typically at around 91°F. .. .. .Typically, the Rains start around the last week in May. . . There was a lot of ITZC activity last night in the Pacific, which is what mainly causes our Rainy season, but that has eased off today.
