I checked continental website...they do have cheap airfares from houston to belize but the catch is it's only good until June 16th.

That's good for people travelling on short notice. I'm not going until early September. If anyone notices cheap fares during this time will they post on the board. I'll keep an eye out, too, and I'll post if I catch something.

I got a hell of a deal on accessairlinetickets.com. You might want to check them out. They were cheaper than any of the other discount ticket sites and I could actually pick the flights I wanted --which you could not do on some of the other sites. Good luck.

Tips for getting cheap airfare is to either use Travelocity or Yahoo!s travel section. Enter your cities and check the button "my dates are flexible". The fares usually are best at 30 days prior. For example, I was checking say 45-50 days prior from San Diego and it was $550. At 30 days it was $409, and 25 days it is $484. This was on Continental Airlines (they also had United and TACA), and you can pick your flights and seats, but usually requires travel on the weekdays. Just keep on checking. I booked a few times through them and never had a problem. The system they use for travel is SABRE, same one travel agents use.

I booked March 7-14 round trip to Belize from Minneapolis for $600 including taxes.
They have international consolidators. We are flying Continental airlines, I couldn't get a flight that cheap on continental's own website.
