From Belmopan... 10:30 BZT

Last night there were two wet air masses moving in different directions over Belize.. . .This could easily result in some rain in any part of Belize, over night.. . . . .Well the result has left many scattered rain areas all over Belize and still more to come in later.

When you have two conflicting air masses, that can easily result in Vertical movements, that will frequently result in Lightning and Thunder, which will usually cause rain.

That Low Atlantic 96L is still not visibly showing rotation, but is still moving WNW and no doubt giving them rain as it passes. . ..Most Low pressure centres do drop rain.

However, over in the Pacific, not all that far from us, there are 3 Hurricanes. . ..The northern one, Lowell, is rotating very fast, the western one Karina, is not rotating very fast and is just developing, but will be clashing with Lowell. . . .. But the Eatern one Marie, is huge. . . . It is spreading from 90°W to 110°W that is over 1,000 miles wide. .. .It is some of its outer bands that are effecting Belize.. . .. . .I notice they are calling them all Tropical Storms. . .. But that I do not believe, the northern one Lowell must surely be classified as a Hurricane due to its rotating speed. . .. .The Eastern one, Marie, must also surely be classified as a Hurricane, due to its shear size and intense storm centre. . . . .I have been questioning their means of identification hurricanes for some time now, size must count, you can't, in my opinion, just go by wind speed at its centre.
