Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Warm and mostly dry conditions prevail.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Sunny with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight and mostly sunny skies tomorrow. Showers and thunderstorms will be generally isolated with slightly higher amounts in the south this morning and tonight and inland this afternoon. Showers will be isolated inland tomorrow afternoon.
Winds: East to southeast 5-15 knots.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... 08:00 BZT There is a lot of Low Cloud around, some of it causing rain showers. . . .Big area of heavy rain along the coast near PG and much of Toledo. ..Scattered showers sort of between Dangriga and Belmopan... I suspect these will die out as the day warms up.. . . . What I think we are seeing is the beginning of the end of the ITCZ activity in our part of the World. . .. . That wet area over Mexico has moved south, leaving some over southern Belize, with a small swell up over Toledo. I expect, after a cloudy start and a few showers, as the day warms up for there to be less showers, so mainly a dry day, with increasing sun later, then white clouds building up this afternoon.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... 14:00 BZT As some have noticed, the Rain showers are getting more, particularly in central Belize, and some in northern Belize. These are due to weather coming down from Cuba, not visible on earlier Satellite pictures. A lot of lightning over Belmopan. . . .This is due to the two wind directions being different . . .Low Caribbean wind from the ESE and the higher wet air from Cuba NE conflicting with each other causing updraughts and lightning, and heavy rain.
