Nothing going on over there, the legal issue (CAUTION) scared the shit out of everyone!
The Split have no customers, no traffic, just a few people on the seawall.
Lazy Lizard cannot open until new agreement or he goes to court and also getting new liquors license,
all work of demolishing main building is stopping !!!!!!!
transmission of information is going as well as it can, discouraged or given second thought to everyone involved!

The SAGA continue...

The traditional gov. of CC has always been a caucus of the heads of families. There are about eight.
They have ensured justice in a country where that can be hard to get.
They function outside the crappy police and court system.
The JP in question is inheriting that position in one of the families.
Several are JPs. Villagers sometimes bring them along to ensure oversight in tricky issues.

If these charges are bogus a process may begin that will not be pleasant for anyone who instigates or celebrates putting an innocent JP family head in jail for serving as a witness.

It will not be obvious to many.
It will not be posted online.
It will be live.

Can't get good service in a restaurant? Your food tastes funny? No lobster available while others seem to get it?
Can't get visa renewed? Rent costs more for you? Termite nest found laying under your house?
Additude of locals seem not as friendly? Cops come slowly when you call? Village Council ignores you?
CC not nearly as much fun anymore so you finally leave?
Anyone who loudly supports Javier's arrest may get to know CC traditions lot better .

NO ONE IN BELIZE IS ABOVE THE BELIZE SYSTEM LAW...
Belize is not a banana republic...
no one ,justice of peace or not,as the right to do not respecting Belize law
the JPs they are there to respect justice and not Family order.
and in that particular case it is Family order and very easy to proof...
justice of peace have to be above the law ,not breaking the law...
if all the 4 people present in the video get arrested and charge now, it is because someone at government study the case and apply the law of Belize

as you can see now there is no more crappy police in C-C and court system is there to be respect and apply for all people specially justice of peace

and if you major argument is no service in restaurant,no lobster,no visa!!!!,rent termite, etc, etc, etc.
you have no point.
there is a lot of people more powerful in Belize who are willing and can help you
it is about time someone stand up and stop there power trip.

the SAGA continue...

Charming guy.
Lots of shouting with capital letters.

Thank Dane,
yes you are right i am a charming guy
i am not to familiar with web talking and rule
sorry for the capital letter did not know about capital letter equal shouting
my intention was to put title to the post
You write this dramatic intimidating manifesto like you're one of the locals while in reality your just another gringo
first as you can see i never mention any personal justice of peace name .
and after re-reading your last post as you suggested to me ,you already mention there is several JP's in C-C
you are the one pin pointed to Javier's as the JP involved
your opinion is good as it can be, but you always tell your opinion without knowing all the real fact...
i am direct involved in that *saga* and it is about time someone stand up and stop there bully's method
as i already said ,Belize is not a banana republic, and there is system to be respected and no one is above the law .

for now Dane i wish you only the best in Hawaii and by the way i predict the electric power for the bar will be back very, very soon or ...

The SAGA continue...(sorry Dane saga as to be in capital letter because yes i shouting this is a SAGA)

Locals do not write or tell this stuff, though they know it well.
My intention was to let others understand better the behind the scenes life of Caye Caulker I picked up from thirty five years of living there.
Having you guys seem to attack me for my post surprised me.
I wasn't addressing either of you, or suggesting any guilty person is above the law.
If you already know this stuff, sorry I was wasting your time.
If anyone doesn't want to read an occasional bit of CC lore both old and new, I hope you will stop reading my posts.
If you do want to read this sort of thing, please do not insult me for providing it.
Good luck with the saga.QB
