From Belmopan...
Early morning fog. .. .Surface wind is from the NE, but the Caribbean wind is almost due E, with some cloud, not a lot, but more so along the Honduran coast and into southern Belize. . . .But there has been significant Pacific high level cloud from the SSW which is causing the Caribbean wind to produce more rain. ..Less than 1/4" in Belmopan over night.
Looks as if when this elevated fog clears in the next few hours, we should be seeing more blue sky and sun today than yesterday. . . . The thinning high level cloud will possibly hold the day temperatures down a little.. . . .. .There can still be isolated rain in any part of Belize, more so down south. . ..Then later this afternoon or evening, more Caribbean cloud will be coming in, which could result in rain later today or this evening.
Dark due to the fog, yet fairly windy, but just had some rain. . . .And at the same time, I could see a largish patch of blue sky, with low level Caribbean clouds crossing from the East and at the same time a high level Pacific Cloud coming up from the south. .
All at the same time..
