From Belmopan...
Heavy fog this morning and lower temperatures than recently, there is cold air moving down from the US and the cloud above Belize last night was very thin to none, causing the fog, the "Tiger" wind helping it. The Pacific cloud usually develops in a sort of vertical ITCZ activity in two areas, one fairly well west, north of the equator, the other is usually just west of Panama. That first one is nearly always sending high cloud over north Mexico and southern US, it is the Panama one that usually brings SW or S cloud over Belize as it is doing right now. The Caribbean air is being diverted southwards, but there are clouds moving in various directions near Belize.
I expect this Fog to burn off this morning, with less cloud than yesterday, more in the north, a fair amount of sun today, probably no rain.
